Until now, OSRAM was essentially home to two different core business models. It was keen to advance both models by focusing them more clearly. Which is why OSRAM split its business into two distinct entities.

  • OSRAM = tailor-made, innovative lighting technologies and lighting solutions.
  • LEDVANCE = lamps, smart home products and luminaires for professionals and consumers.

LEDVANCE is faster, more agile and more flexible as a stand-alone company and brand. Building on a trusted, proven heritage, our sharp, distinctive and unique profile will enable us to achieve our full potential moving forward, while still operating independently.

The LEDVANCE Management Board consists of two members. All board members have spent several successful years working in the lighting industry in leading positions before joining LEDVANCE. They are now bringing the benefit of their experience to the new company.
