International consulting study from LEDVANCE shows: Electric wholesalers must strengthen their company profile

The megatrends LEDification, Smart Home and Digitalization are in the process of rapidly changing the international lighting market. The resulting challenges influence the customer wishes of professional end-users and therefore also affect the electric wholesalers. In an international study, LEDVANCE analyzed their situation using the example of the light industry and gave specific recommendations for actions. The main finding: To be successful in the long-term price war, wholesalers need a clear profile for their company with tangible benefits against their customers, especially installers.

Data base
The quantitative surveys of over 3,600 installers in six countries (USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Turkey and Brazil) took place in the period from April to June 2016.
