This privacy information will inform you about how you can process your personal data when using the LEDVANCE DALI CONFIG Mobile App to configure one of the Compatible Control Units (i.e. FLEX CU FLUSH MOUNT DALI-2 TW, FLEX CU DALI-2 TW, FLEX CU RTC DALI2 HCL TW) (hereinafter “the Product”) (Data Processing)

DATA PROCESSING WHEN USING THE LEDVANCE DALI CONFIG

The personal data provided by you using the LEDVANCE DALI CONFIG will be processed on your own responsibility. The personal data will be processed and stored locally in the Product and/or locally in the app of the respective mobile device. LEDVANCE has no access to your data.

YOUR OBLIGATION IN THE EVENT OF “RETURN TO MANUFACTURER”

If you return the Product to LEDVANCE, you are responsible to back up any confidential, private, personal or other information stored in the Product and to delete such information from the Product prior to the return of the Product. With the return of the Product you authorize LEDVANCE to transfer the Product to the LEDVANCE service center in other countries for maintenance.

REQUIRED PERSONAL DATA

The LEDVANCE DALI CONFIG provides certain functionalities to configure the Product.

Therefore, the following personal data is required and stored locally in the Product - LEDVANCE has no access to this data:
 
  • App-ID (randomly assigned by the LEDVANCE DALI CONFIG Mobile App ID)
  • Date/Time (for the calculation of local sunrise and sunset for BIOLUX Applications)
  • Location Data (Real-time clock within the Product. Location Data is used to determine the respective time zone for daylight saving time periods and day/night settings) Geo Location (Localization permission is needed to enable the Bluetooth interface and connect to a device.)
  • Settings made (each change of settings is transferred directly to the Product)

If you decide to provide the corresponding prefilled data fields with your own data, the following data will be processed:
 
  • Name
  • Company Name
     
When activating the product or after a manual reset, you can optionally assign a password to restrict access to the settings you have made. The password is saved in the LEDVANCE DALI CONFIG Mobile App and in the respective product.

The password is automatically deleted from the product when you manually reset the product.

WHY ARE YOU REQUIRED TO ENTER PERSONAL DATA

The purpose of entering your personal data when you connect to the Product is to use all features of the Product, i.e. to set up the Product in the desired system configuration.

STORAGE PERIOD

Your Personal Data will be stored in the Product until you overwrite or delete the information yourself. To delete all data, you can also deinstall the LEDVANCE DALI CONFIG App from your Mobile Device.

LEDVANCE does not have access to the data in the Product or the app of the respective mobile device, and therefore we cannot delete your data for you. If you need help performing a manual reset, please contact us via contact@ledvance.com.
