a) Auto scan mode
A new SMART+ WiFi Siren is in fast-flashing mode after powering on. This is indicated by the flashing of indicator LED occurring twice per second. To connect it, tap “+” button on the particular home screen page where you want to add the device, and then select “Add device”. The “Automatic search” starts as soon you enter the screen and will scan for the next 30 seconds nearby devices. Found devices will be listed. You can select and add the devices shown individually by tapping the “Add” button. Alternatively, for complete integration, you can also select the “Add all” button shown at the top of the list. In the next screen, select the WiFi router with 2.4 GHz network and enter the corresponding password with which you want to connect your devices. If you have multiple WiFi routers at your home, then you can select the WiFi from “Change WiFi network” as well. After a device is added successfully, then a message will be displayed that “the device is successfully added”.
b) Manual adding mode
If you cannot find the desired device with above mentioned steps, then you can also add the device manually with “Go to manual adding” button mentioned at the bottom of the screen. Now select the device category tab “Sirens”. In the next screen, select the WiFi router with 2.4 GHz network and enter the corresponding password with which you want to connect your devices. If you have multiple WiFi routers at your home, then you can select the WiFi from “Change WiFi network” as well. Confirm that the Siren is in paring mode and flashing. In the next step a connection with the hotspot mode will be done. You need to connect your smartphone with the device hotspot. You are now requested to connect the smartphone to the hotspot (LDV Smart+-xxxx) provided by the siren. After tapping on "Connect with hotspot", the WiFi of the smartphone must be connected to the hotspot (LDV Smart+-xxxx) of the siren via the WiFI settings of the smartphone, you need to confirm with the “Yes” button that the connection was successful. In the next step the pairing process will start. After the device is added successfully, then a message will be displayed that “the device is successfully added”.
The sirens can be set to pairing mode by pressing on the reset button for 6 seconds.
c) Product functions
Tap one of the Siren icons to display the device screen to control its functions.
- Alarm volume: to set volume of the sound alarm.
- Alarm duration: to set alarm duration from 10 seconds up to 30 minutes.
- Ringtone: to set desired ringtone of alarm.
- Alarm mode: to set alarm mode, which offers 3 options: Sound Alarm, Light Alarm, Sound and Light Alarm.
- Anti dismantle alarm: to set alarm if siren is removed from mounting (only for Outdoor Siren).
- History: to view the logs of the alarms for the last 7 days.
- Routines: to add/view the automated routines linked with the siren
